Club history
The Bayswater Tennis Club was established in 1930 with the first Clubhouse opened in 1931. It was replaced by a double-storey pavilion in 1961.
Originally comprising of only natural grass courts, the 1990s saw the development of two hard courts. In 2007, four synthetic clay courts were built.
Thanks to local, state and federal govenment funding, the old building was demolised to make way for the new Clubhouse which opened in 2018.
An additional two grass courts were converted to hard courts in 2019.
Bayswater Tennis Club Inc. is an incorporated association, entirely run by a volunteer Board of Directors.
Our Patrons
Dean Smith – Senator for WA

With a strong inclusive culture, I am pleased to be a Patron of this important club as it continues to grow and develop at a time where community connections and opportunities to enjoy the game of tennis in a collegiate atmosphere are more important than ever.”
